Bob Van Der Ploeg -theNetLander

Bob started his dealer parts career in 1977 at a dealership in Naples Florida where the only qualifications required was that he had a pulse. He was promoted to parts manager in 1980 while at a dealership in Ft. Myers Florida. His pulse quickened and the plot thickened. He was given special recognition from the dealership accounting department for writing a policy requiring dead employees to lay down so they would be easier to identify. Bob's first experience with selling parts online was in 1996 where he sold an average of $30,000 per month while working at a Orlando Chevrolet dealership.

Keith Johnson -theFinLander

The first dealership he worked for was in northern Minnesota where he remembers checking in stock orders in -40 degree weather. Keith came up with some of his best ideas for selling parts while baking away in his basement sauna (and we don't mean cookies). He spent 21 years as the parts manager of a Dodge dealership in Naperville Illnois that specialized in restoration parts. We think that was because he first learned the parts business in the 70's and his brain was frozen in time. In 2002 his sales from parts sold over the internet that year exceeded 1 million dollars.
